Stitch Length Conversions
Do you have one of the newer style sewing machines that have the stitch settings from 0 to 5?
Do you have patterns that recommend setting your stitch length from 8-10 stitches (or some other value)?
How do you determine what 8-10 stitches is on a 0 to 5 setting?
I have wondered the same things. When I first started quilting, and learning to use my new machine, I made a quick “cheat” sheet using some of the fancy stitches on my sewing machine. But alas, it has been packed in storage, until the completion of my quilt room.
I ran across the 8-10 stitch length again recently.
Do I make up another sampler/cheat sheet? Nah… I decided to add it to my blog. Without further ado, allow me to provide the “conversions” for you.
